Mixed reality (MR) is a combination of real worlds and virtual worlds to create new environments and visualizations, where physical and digital objects can then co-exist and interact in real time. Mixed reality does not only take place in either the physical world or virtual world, but is a blend of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. The difference between AR and VR: Augmented reality takes place in the real world, with information or objects that is added virtually; Virtual Reality immerges you in a virtual world without the intervention of the real world.
